Tali Lennox is the offspring of songbird sensation and lead singer of The Eurythmics, Annie Lennox and sibling of Lola Lennox (I seem to be coincidentally stumbling upon fellow Lola's as of late).  This 5'9 foot beauty has only recently stepped onto the runway and made her modelling debut but seems to be taking over quite quickly. Tali has a clean and pale complexion with striking features and a pretty killer dress sense. Her off duty style is quite a classical and vintage approach mixed with a grungy feel and seems to have quite a cool hat collection as we can see in her candid style photographs above. She has that abillity to entwine feminine florals with grungy dark pieces and makes you want to cover your eyelids in yellow eyeshadow and slick your hair back. Tali is definitely  a style muse keeper and we shall be seeking inspiration from her in the future or even her equally as fashionable family members, Lola & Annie.

Karen Walker can certainly do no wrong, especially when it comes to her eyewear range. These are the images from her KW ♥ UV 2011 eyewear collection and campaign. Karens designs are always unique, fashion forward  and distinctive pieces that stand out from all all the other eyewear ranges that are about.  Within this collection, there appears to be a larger selection of colourful sunglasses with neon hues which we can thank the recent colour blocking trend for. Not only are the KW collection's constantly amazing but also the concept and themes for the campaigns. I very much love the minimalistic theme infused together with an alienesque approach for this campaigns overall look. There's only so many ways you can shoot a pair of sunglasses without them blending into the surroundings and loosing focus but Karen has definitely mastered the art of managing that. Below are three pairs of sunglasses that I personally like that have been dressed with an outfit that suits the mood and colour combination of the eyewear, each one suitable for a different season.

Navy Blues // Washington

An outfit post from todays adventures. The first photograph was the outfit I started out with, thinking it was going to be cold day (considering it is winter) but alas the weather decided to do a 360 and it was quite the warm and sunny Friday. When the day began to warm up I reluctantly had to change out of my long black maxi skirt and change into more weather appropriate attire which is the outfit in the second picture. It seems quite odd that Sydney is facing horrible weather with pouring down rain while here in the regional area it feels like we are in Summer. I'm sure a majority of people would find this as a positive but I am definitely more an autumn and winter kind of girl and prefer the colder months. Twas a busy day that consisted of packaging up items that had sold and sending them off on their way to lovely new homes/owners. How adorable and teeny tiny is this little packaging of some vintage sunglasses? Tonight I shall be venturing into town to see Havana Brown live then two more days of work and I shall be Sydney bound until next Friday. Very excited to spend some time there with my sister, has been quite a while since my last Sydney visit, i've been having some withdrawals..  or maybe they're just sushi and dumplings cravings. On July the 15th The Pitchfork Music Festival for 2011 took place over three days in the lovely Chicago. The delicious lineup for Pitchfork consisted of Zola Jesus, Woods, Fleet Foxes, Yuck, Twin Sister, Health, Deerhunter, Sun Airway, Das Racist and Wild Nothing and many more talented musicians and bands. Music festivals have rapidly begun to be a popular area known for showcasing numerous amounts of well dressed and unique fashioned concert goers and the new destination for 'street style' inspiration. Free People & Refinery29 were most certainly on the ball with spotting and snapping up some chicagoans with not only quality musical taste but also killer personal style, which is where a vast quantity of the above images were from. From what i've read and can see the day was very hot and humid, so all these ladies have dressed weather appropriately and have stayed cool and calm. Below is one my ideal festival outfits where i've incorporated my two favourite colours - emerald green and apricot, though after reading the weather references of the day I  don't think a woollen jumper would of went down well there. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend this festival but i'll be able to make it up next year at The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival over in the states in April 2012. Will any of you guys out there be attending Coachella next year too?

Here are a few photographs from the last week, I apologise for the lack of posts over the weekend and the last couple of days, as well as the the lack of exciting pictures in this post (in my defence, I live in Wagga Wagga).  An outfit layout shot, some pretty pictures of some books (how lovely are the illustrations on the shakespeare books), some new ring purchases - both new and thrifted, macbook webcam selfie, vintage shoulder padded gold&black sweater purchase and how funny/cool/strange/fashion forward are these bright red rayban sunglasses with the addition of a plastic sun visor attached (bonus!) that I stumbled upon while thrifting. Unfortunately though I did not purchase these little beauties, I felt they needed a owner who would appreciate the novelty of them more than I could.

Elena Perminova is a Russian model, with a wardrobe that every girl would envy and legs that go on for  days. If you didn't think she was already lucky enough with those traits, she also has a Russian billionaire boyfriend, is best friends with Miroslava Duma and has some very cute kids. Each of her outfits all appear so effortless and with a best friend like Miroslava Duma by her side, it would be impossible for her to dress badly. She happilys mixes up prints, patterns and textures within her outfits and does so with utter brilliance and ease. Elena also is definitely not afraid of some bright pops of colour, sporting a vibrant purple long sleeved shift dress with emphasised shoulders. Elena's personal style is unique and quirky with a polished finish from head to toe and is most certainly a worthy style muse I will be taking some notes from.

Happy Bastille Day! Here is my Bastille's day outfit that i'm wearing while I dine at a lovely little local Parisian cafe, eating large quantities of almond croissants and sipping on some delightful french tea. *Note to self, leave room for some macaroons. For Bastille Day I bring you the charming little song 'Flaws' which is by a band also called Bastille. The video link below is actually a young girl named Kate McGill, whom I found on youtube and this is her cover rendition of Bastille's song. She's tweaked it and added her own personal touch which has made the song that little bit more stupefying because of her voice and british accent.
