Watch The Sun Come Up // Example

When shift dresses have the ability to be worn tucked into a pair of shorts and disguised as a baggy tee, i'm a happy lady. This animal/tribal printed dress is one of my favourite thrifted finds so it's inevitable that I would try and find even more ways to wear it and incorporate it into my outfits. I found the burnt orange and yellow sunflower ring during an  op shopping road trip somewhere in Yackandandah during last Summer and my love for it seems to increase day by day. I'm pretty sure it is some sort of a novelty item or childs toy due it's oversized nature and the fact it is made of plastic but I do enjoy its ability to brighten up any ensemble instantly and really, who doesn't love sunflowers?

Bardot black sequin high waisted shorts, Kookai blue envelope clutch, Lovisa rings, Vintage flower ring, Vintage printed shift dress worn as a tee, Lovisa spike/leaf necklace.

Spiritus // Lisa Mitchell

A few happy snaps from today which involved wandering around and exploring Bondi with my newest purchase, the Lee '90210' dress. I can definitely see this piece being a staple item not only during the summer days but also during the cooler months as the perfect layering piece. Wearable as a dress, worn undone over another dress, under a jumper, as a top with a skirt or layered with other bits and pieces - the possibilities are endless. I'm a big fan of the light cross print and i've always been a chambray lover. I also recently jumped on the balayage bandwagon thanks to 2Threads, Christopher Hanna and Dove - highly recommend Adam & Karly at the Christopher Hanna Paddington Salon, they're amazing!

Lee '90210' denim dress, Something Else by Natalie Wood grey zipper oversized knit, Witchery 'Alexia' sequin clutch, Lovisa bird skull ring, Tony Bianco 'Brixton' leopard wedges. Vintage tortoise shell sunglasses, Vintage gold necklace with metal fringing.

Shop the Lee 90210 dress via General Pants here.

My Neck // Step Panther

Here is a little sneak peek of a guest blogpost I did for the This&That Surfstitch blog. I've started to develop a habit of layering my necklaces and i'm thinking it's the beginning of an unhealthy obsession. If I didn't already wear enough jewellery i've now decided to double up on my neck bling-age, possible triple if I do dare.

Check out the full post here

(P.s don't forget to press the little Facebook 'like' icon under the post so I can win a trip for 2 to California)

Muchas gracias!

Outfit // Blue Kookai Jumper, Black and white printed Kookai skirt, Lovisa gold leaf necklace, Lovisa bracelets, Lovisa black and gold rope choker, Zu black and Wood wedges, Hussy black and silver studded bag with fringing, Le Spec sunglasses.

Daydreamer // Flux Pavilion feat. Example

Last Saturday I headed to Future Music Festival at the Royal Randwick Racecourse thanks to Mossimo. I think it was actually one of the funnest festivals I have been to so far and the weather was amazing all day/evening. Musical highlights were definitely Flux Pavilion, Knife Party and of course Swedish House Mafia which was the crowd where the 1st, 3rd and 8th photo above were taken. Aside from the fact that it was a ridiculously fun day I really wish I had of seen Die Antwoord's set but alas they clashed with Flux. Where are those super powers where I can be at various different places all at once when I need them? The burgundy top I wore was a mens tee I purchased at K-Mart for $6 that I then did a quick cut up/went all DIY on and turned it into a basic side scooped muscle tank - pretty happy about that one!

Outfit// Bettina Liano= black lace shorts, DIY muscle tank aka $6 Burgandy mens tee from K-Mart, Cotton On Body black lace bra, Vintage aztec necklace with mini bells, Hussy beaded bag, Rings from Lovisa and ColletteSamsung Ex-1.

Nasty Girl // Destinys Child

all images via lifelounge

So I think i'm a little late on the Mink Pink x Nasty gal collaboration bandwagon but how amazing are these shots from the 26 piece collection? These images make me want to frolick around a Californian desert wearing leopard print and neon green whilst playing with paint powder guns.

The collection will launch on the 19th of March and will be available for purchase via the Nastygal website.

Oxford Decor // Made In Japan

A quick outfit shot while wandering around Surry Hills before the Oxford Street Design Store launch. I must say, Surry Hills is definitely home to some pretty freakin' cool street art. The Oxford St. Design Store is a retail space where designers, creators, writers, artists etc can have their creations available for sale, under the condition that pricing cannot exceed $20. A unique concept that helps allow designers to get their work out there and enables you to an art fix that wont break the bank. In store you can find a great selection of The Lonely Kids Club tees, prints, a little book of disguises, handmade notebooks, little cardboard greeting cards with felt burgers sewn on, quirky candle holders and an array of other delightful little goodies all for $20 and under.

tis totally my hand.. and my cup of  wine. via thethousands

On thursday night I popped by the ToniMay pop up shop launch at the 100 Squared Emerging Designer Market, situated on the bottom level of Westfield Sydney. After spending hours lurking the ToniMay online store it was so exciting to be able to see the amazing array of jewellery 'in the flesh', so to say. There was a live art installation courtesy of the oh so talented Brett Chan, which you can see in the making in the above photos. Also present was a live dj and refreshments courtesy of C Coconut Water. The ToniMay pop up shop will be open until the 31st of March and i'd definitely recommend a visit. An array of beautifully hand crafted bohemian cuffs, necklaces, bracelets and other lovely jewels- it's literally impossible to not want every piece.
