After discovering Etta Bond on Music Site inspiredbymusicuk i've had her tracks stuck on repeat for a consecutive amount of days now. Her overall sound and aesthetic are like a hint of Jessie J, Adele, Alice Dellal and Katy B all combined into one, with her obvious own personal touch. Etta Bond is armed with some incredible vocals and an immense amount of raw talent, definitely making her one to keep an eye on this year. She was recently signed to Labrinth's fresh new label, 'Odd Child' after being discovered via Myspace as a teenager.
Below are a couple of videos consisting of her acoustic cover mash up version of an Arctic Monkeys and an Ed Sheeran song, a track collaboration with Wretch 32 called 'forgiveness' and a live acoustic version of her song 'Ask me to stay'.
