On July the 15th The Pitchfork Music Festival for 2011 took place over three days in the lovely Chicago. The delicious lineup for Pitchfork consisted of Zola Jesus, Woods, Fleet Foxes, Yuck, Twin Sister, Health, Deerhunter, Sun Airway, Das Racist and Wild Nothing and many more talented musicians and bands. Music festivals have rapidly begun to be a popular area known for showcasing numerous amounts of well dressed and unique fashioned concert goers and the new destination for 'street style' inspiration. Free People & Refinery29 were most certainly on the ball with spotting and snapping up some chicagoans with not only quality musical taste but also killer personal style, which is where a vast quantity of the above images were from. From what i've read and can see the day was very hot and humid, so all these ladies have dressed weather appropriately and have stayed cool and calm. Below is one my ideal festival outfits where i've incorporated my two favourite colours - emerald green and apricot, though after reading the weather references of the day I don't think a woollen jumper would of went down well there. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend this festival but i'll be able to make it up next year at The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival over in the states in April 2012. Will any of you guys out there be attending Coachella next year too?
