Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week or hold the identity of Bart Simpson's evil twin who's stashed away in the attic, then i'm assuming you're well aware that Mercedes Benz Australia Fashion Week took place last week in Sydney. Unfortunately I was not the smartest of people when it came to this years run of Fashion Week having forgotten to apply for a media accreditation before the deadline (doh!) but luckily I was fortunate enough to obtain some invitations to a few shows regardless. One of the shows I attended was Toi Et Moi's 'Paris via Sydney' Resort 2012/13 collection which kicked off with an adorable young girl singing acoustically in French. The collection was a modern and edgier adaption of its usual French chic vibe with fun and playful colour bursts of tangerine, canary yellow and coral, sequins, paisley prints, cut out shoulders, two-piece pantsuits, sheer fabrics, foiling and metallics though still staying true to its Parisian influence with black and white stripes. One of my favourite things about the pieces within this collection is the versatility and ability to be interchangeable with other pieces of the same range. This year Toi Et Moi took it one step further by collaborating with online store The Iconic and making a selection of looks from their 'Paris via Sydney' Collection available for purchase immediately after the show, giving you the chance to be runway ready instantly with the click of a button.
