These photos were taken a few days ago on the last day of Winter which luckily enough was a day that involved some sunshine. So naturally I took advantage of the situation and whipped out a pair of shorts to celebrate the arrival of Spring a day early and show Winter who's boss. To some this outfit could be a prime example of an oxymoron moment, though I prefer to think of it more as getting the best of both worlds. This orange Lovisa beaded necklace is the perfect pop of colour that excels in complimenting the black and white backdrop of the Zimmermann top, a piece of jewellery I can see myself wearing a lot during the new season. Normally i'd stick to metals for my jewels but I think it may just be time to embrace some beading and colour for once.
