House Party // British India

via lolajagger

Last week ASOS held a series of events in celebration of an Australian exclusive
preview of their Spring/Summer '13 collection. The concept was entitled ASOS 'In Your World' and involved being able to shop the collection exclusively through ASOS.com/AU as well as through a 'Scan-To-Shop' app at each of the events. Genius! On Wednesday I ventured over to the Sydney Opera House for the Salon Collection Launch and had the opportunity to drool over all the amazing pieces front row and catch a glimpse of it all firsthand. The collection consisted of a variety of different styles that involved embellishment, coloured lace, cut-out features, delicate embroidery and appliqué finishes all heavily inspired by vintage pieces. I am an absolute crazy person when it comes to texture, embellishment and basically all things sparkly so I definitely thought I was in my own version of Utopia.

Shop the ASOS Salon collection here.

  3. The title is the song 'House Party' by the band British India. The title is always a song that has to do with the post e.g 'House' Party and the runway show was held at the Opera 'House'
